DC SchoolConnect Services
Families can learn more about the DC SchoolConnect program which offers free and safe transportation to school, events, and after school activities for students residing in Wards 7 and 8.
All students must have up-to-date immunization certification on file with the school within the first 20 school days or they will not be allowed to attend school or school activities until the immunization certification is secured by the school. DC laws and regulations require that any child attending a school or daycare in DC submit a completed Universal Health Certificate and Oral Health Assessment Form annually to demonstrate that all students are receiving the health care they need.
Adult immunizations are critical to helping reduce the spread of vaccine preventable diseases to residents, visitors, and those working in the District. Adult learners ages 18 & up can access free immunizations through the adult immunization program.
