The Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School (LAMB) is seeking to hire BASE After School Program Instructors for part-time positions (2:00-6:00 pm). We are a bilingual (Spanish/English) public school in Washington, DC serving students in PK3-5th grade.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver enrichment activities for students participating in the program
  • Supervise students in the program and maintain a safe and enriching environment for all students
  • Work collaboratively with BASE Instructors

Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must speak English or Spanish 
  • Experience working in a school setting with young children
  • Energetic, flexible, imaginative, and eager to work in a bilingual and multicultural public school
  • Experience planning and implementing extracurricular activities in a school or community setting
  • Ability to work with students of various abilities
  • Possess the ability to work in a multicultural, bilingual environment
  • Meet health requirements, including TB test screening
  • Submit necessary documents for a completed personnel file, including three references, diplomas, transcripts, and fingerprinting and clearance form.

Salary:  Starting at $15,300 (includes 13 paid holidays and paid winter/spring breaks)

FLSA Classification:    Non-Exempt, 10-Month
