Yariany Perez-Nieto

Yariany Perez-Nieto is the Senior Manager of Data and IT Systems for DC PCSB. She manages PCSB’s data infrastructure, IT systems, and knowledge management operations for the agency. She has worked in budget, technology operations, and data strategy space with non-profits and DC education agencies. Mrs. Perez-Nieto comes to DC PCSB from the Food and Nutrition Services department at DC Public Schools where she was the Manager of Finance, Strategy, and Technology. There, she oversaw the fiscal and technology operations of the USDA School Meals Program that operate in over 117 schools. At the onset of COVID-19, she developed and managed the open meal site strategy that resulted in a 37-meal site activation across the city serving over 2 million meals. Mrs. Perez-Nieto holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University and a Master of Arts in Public Management from Johns Hopkins University.
