Notice of Request to Amend Charter: Ages Served, Mission – LAYC Career Academy PCS

The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) announces an opportunity for the public to comment on a request from LAYC Career Academy Public Charter School (LAYC PCS) to amend its charter agreement. The school seeks to:1) increase the age of students who can enroll at LAYC PCS from 24 to 30, and 2) adjust its mission statement to reflect the age increase. If approved, these changes will take effect at the beginning of school year (SY) 2023 – 24. LAYC PCS submitted its request on February 22, 2023.
