DC PCSB holds monthly public board meetings. However, the Board may not have a meeting in July or August. Check below for meeting time and location.
Public Comment
Public hearings are held for DC PCSB’s policies and required for proposals to open a new school and when a school requests to amend its charter agreement, including a:
- Change in the mission, goals, academic expectations, and governance structure
- Change in the grades served
- Change in enrollment
- Change in location of the school or to add an additional facility/campus

Submit a Comment
The public is encouraged to comment on proposed policies, new charter school applications, requests to change charter agreements, and any other Board Meeting agenda items. To ensure your comments are processed and reviewed, identify the “name of the school or topic” and please use one of the below ways (please select only one). DC PCSB accepts written comment until 11:59 p.m. the day before the meeting.
Complete the form below to sign up to testify in person at the public hearing no later than 12 p.m. on the day of the public hearing.
Please call (202)-328-2660 and select option 4. You will have up to five minutes
to record your testimony. Your testimony will be transcribed
and made available to the public in the general public comment folder. See the link
