Notice of Petition to Amend: Charter Goals Policy

The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) announces an opportunity for the public to submit comments on the Charter Goals Policy. DC PCSB staff seeks revisions to the Charter Goals Policy. The proposed revisions aim to consolidate and expand upon existing DC PCSB charter goals policies and guidelines, creating a single comprehensive policy. Further, the revisions will 1) align with standards defined in the Annual School Performance Index Report and Evaluation (ASPIRE) Policy & Technical Guide (DC PCSB’s revised accountability system), and 2) establish goal attainment pathways for school year (SY) 2024 – 25 through SY 2026 – 27 as DC PCSB begins its implementation of the ASPIRE System. The proposed Charter Goals Policy and the ASPIRE Policy & Technical Guide will serve as complementary components of DC PCSB’s accountability system.
