Majority of the campuses have released their summer programs, which will take place between June 26 and August 1, and vary in length and offering.

Typically, all summer programs at public charter schools are only available to students  enrolled at the school. The types of programs being offered include, but are not limited too:

  • Summer School Enrichment
  • Credit Recovery
  • Extended School Year (ESY)
  • Extended School Year (ESY) Focusing on Students with Disabilities
  • Summer Bridge
  • High Dosage Tutoring (Literacy and Math)
  • GED Skills Support
  • Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)

Other Summer Opportunities for Students

The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will host summer camps starting on June 29 and ending on August 19. These camps and camp activities are open to students ages three through 13, and will offer a variety of experiences. For more information on DPR’s summer camps click here.
