Primary Guide (Short-term starting January 5)

Instructional

Join Our Team as a Substitute Primary Guide!

Are you passionate about nurturing young learners in a vibrant, student-centered Montessori environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Primary Guide to inspire and support children’s growth—intellectually, socially, and emotionally—while fostering a community where every student has equitable access to learning.

In this role, you’ll create a thoughtfully prepared classroom that follows authentic Montessori principles and meets the unique needs of a diverse student body. You’ll collaborate closely with school leadership and your classroom team to design meaningful lessons, guide behavior with kindness and consistency, and build strong relationships with students and families.

If you have an AMI or AMS Montessori Primary diploma, a bachelor’s degree, and experience working in Montessori settings (public school experience a plus), we’d love to hear from you! We value creativity, a nurturing spirit, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. Fluency in a second language and background in special education or the arts are welcomed but not required.
