The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (“DC PCSB”) announces an opportunity for the public to submit comment on a request to amend its goals and academic achievement expectations by Hope Community Public Charter School (“Hope Community PCS”) submitted on May 17, 2016.
Hope Community PCS is petitioning the Board to elect to adopt the Performance Management Framework (“PMF”) as its goals and student achievement expectations. The school is up for its 15-year charter renewal in school year 2019-20.
Pursuant to the School Reform Act, D.C. Code 38-1802 et seq., a charter school must submit a petition to revise its charter, which includes its goals and academic achievement expectations.
