Notice of Request to Adopt: Charter Agreement Amendment Petition Submission Policy

The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) announces an opportunity for the public to comment on the proposed Charter Agreement Amendment Petition Submission Policy. The purpose of this policy is to reaffirm and establish petition submission expectations for any DC public charter school seeking revisions to its charter agreement. The proposed policy also includes an “Emergency Waiver” clause, outlining the limited circumstances in which a school may submit an amendment petition after the submission deadline without receiving an automatic recommendation of denial from DC PCSB staff.
