State Assessment

 

For the ninth straight year, students attending DC public charter schools are performing above the District average in math and reading on the DC Comprehensive Assessment System (DC CAS) tests.  The data shows that the percentage of DC public charter school students considered proficient on DC CAS has continued to increase.  

 

Note: 2013-14 was the final school year the DC CAS will be administered. In 2014-15, students will take the PARCC assessment for math and English Language Arts (including composition) and will take a new Science and Health assessment currently under development.
