Washington, D.C. — The DC Public Charter School Board released the following statement by Executive Director Scott Pearson concerning the civil action filed today by the DC Attorney General against Community Action Partners Charter School Management, the private management company used by Community Academy Public Charter School:

"The DC Attorney General is raising serious allegations concerning Community Action Partners Charter School Management, the management company used by Community Academy Public Charter School.

“PCSB will evaluate these allegations over the coming days. No action concerning the school will be taken over the summer, so CAPCS families and students should be confident school will operate as planned next year.

“PCSB will cooperate with the DC Attorney General in its investigation as this case proceeds.”
