We have welcomed 13 new parents to the Parent and Alumni Leadership Council (PALC). This informal advisory board will advise our DC Public Charter School Board about its policies for public charter schools. The PALC acts as a liaison between us, the broader community, families, and graduates of public charter school students.

Our PALC members are instrumental in making public education in Washington, DC stronger for all public school students. These engaged parents reflect the diversity of the city as the members represent 16 different schools, live in 7 distinct neighborhoods, and provide unique voices on their school communities.
