Charter School Board to Consider New Policies to Assess School Oversight Fee and Allow Single Campus Closures

Washington, D.C. — The DC Public Charter School Board (PCSB) will consider the following policies at a public hearing during its next monthly meeting on Monday, May 21, 2012. The policies are: Assess School Oversight Fee on All of a School’s Public Revenues, (view the presentation on this policy here) and Amend Charter Agreement to Allow Single Campus Closures. The policies may be reviewed on the PCSB website or call the offices to request a copy.
Interested parties will have until May 21, 2012 to provide written comments to the PCSB or register to provide oral comments at the May 21, 2012 Public Hearing. The hearing will take place at the DC Public Charter School Board, at 3333 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC at 6:30pm. Individuals who wish to comment should call the Board’s office at (202) 328-2660 by 3:00pm on the day of the hearing to be placed on the witness list.
