What/Who: The Josephine Baker Awards for Charter School Excellence commemorate and celebrate DC Public Charter Schools for their excellence, growth and non-traditional approach in education.  The DC Public Charter School Board will honor all the high performing charter schools at a red carpet reception and awards ceremony.  Mayor Vincent C. Gray will also be honored for his work with charter schools. 

 

When:     Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 6:30pm

    Reception at 6:30pm and Awards ceremony at 8:00pm
