Democracy Prep To Operate Imagine Southeast PCS Next School Year

The Board of Trustees of Imagine Southeast PCS has selected Democracy Prep DC to serve as school operator starting in July 2014.  The new operators, which will rename the school Democracy Prep Congress Heights PCS, will continue to serve students in grades PK through 6.  

Democracy Prep Public Schools is a network of high-performing public charter schools located in Harlem, NY and Camden, NJ. In November, the Public Charter School Board (PCSB) approved  Democracy Prep DC to each open one school under the Board’s “Experienced Operator” application procedure. 

Students currently enrolled at Imagine Southeast PCS will have a guaranteed slot in the upcoming school year.  
 

The school will continue to serve students in grades PK to 6.
