Enrollment Ceiling Increase - LAMB PCS
The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (“DC PCSB”) announces an opportunity for the public to submit comment on a request to amend its enrollment ceiling by Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School (“LAMB PCS”) on March 7, 2016.
LAMB PCS is currently in its twelfth year of operation serving students in grades prekindergarten-3 through fifth at a single campus across two campuses located in Wards 4 and 5. In an effort to provide more high quality seats at a Montessori school in the District, LAMP PCS is requesting an increase in its enrollment ceiling from 400 to 650 students over the next ten years.
Pursuant to the School Reform Act, D.C. Code 38-1802 et seq., a charter school must submit a petition to revise its charter, which includes its enrollment ceiling.
