Gabriela Batista

Director of Human Resources

Gabriela Batista is responsible for overseeing the talent life cycle. Her team works to ensure that our REDI commitments are visible in all our HR functions, and that our Talent Philosophy is deeply aligned with our Strategic Roadmap. She also leads DC PCSB’s Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, and Continuous Growth and Development. Gabriela is a firm believer in servant leadership and comes from a nonprofit and hospitality background. She has served as an HR leader at the African Wildlife Foundation, Young Invincibles, and various DC hotels and restaurants. Ms. Batista holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Psychology from PUCMM University in Dominican Republic and is a SHRM Certified Professional.
