Description:
- Establishes a District of Columbia Jazz Preservation Program, within the Commission on Arts and Humanities.
- The Program will record interviews with leading jazz artists for television broadcasts, acquire and preserve jazz artifacts, and create an online database of jazz history and events.
- Creates and maintains a registry for performing artists and ensure jazz education is available to District of Columbia public and public charter schools.
