Karlo Silbiger

Specialist, Sector Planning and Compliance

Karlo Silbiger, EdD, is a Sector Planning and Compliance Specialist at DC PCSB. He facilitates public charter school Boards of Trustees to practice effective governance that produce high quality schools. Dr. Silbiger has worked in public education for more than two decades as a teacher, education policy leader, school system leader, and elected School Board member. Most recently, he was the Managing Director of External Policy at KIPP DC. Previously, Dr. Silbiger was the Director of College-Going Culture at the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools. He has a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies Education from Boston University, a Master of Education Policy and Management degree from Harvard University, and a Doctor of Education Leadership degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
