Maria Murphy develops agency policies and supports the General Counsel in providing advice and counsel to staff and board members. Ms. Murphy previously worked as a federal law clerk and in various capacities at non-profit organizations. She started her career as a middle school teacher in South Texas. Ms. Murphy holds Bachelor of Arts, Master of Education, and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
