The DC Public Charter School Board mourns the passing of Eagle Academy PCS Head of School and founder, Cassandra Pinkney. Ms. Pinkney dedicated her heart and soul to the students of Eagle Academy PCS. As the founder of DC's first public charter school dedicated to educating 3 and 4 year olds, Eagle Academy PCS grew from 117 students in its first year to serving more than 700 students at two campuses. We are keeping Eagle Academy PCS and Ms. Pinkney’s family in our thoughts.

Please share your thoughts on Ms. Pinkney's service to students in the comments.
