Nicole Keler

Specialist, School Equity & Effectiveness

Nicole Keler is part of the School Performance Department and supports the School Equity and Effectiveness team. She is primarily responsible for the contributions to planning and executing the Qualitative Site Review (QSR) program. Ms. Keler has five years of teaching experience in elementary education and three years of school administration experience in the area of special education within the DC public charter school system. As special education coordinator, Ms. Keler promoted a vision of inclusion for all students and supported staff with best practices for co-planning, family engagement, evidence based interventions, and strategies of Universal Design for Learning. Ms. Keler has a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University in Policy Studies, a Masters Degree of Education from Johns Hopkins University with a speciality in Elementary and Special Education, and a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Georgetown University’s continuing studies program.
