Notice of Petition to Adopt: ASPIRE Policy & Technical Guide
Vote Date
Summary
The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) announces an opportunity for the public to submit comments on its accountability system, currently identified as the Performance Management Framework (PMF). DC PCSB staff proposes calling the PMF the Annual School Performance Index Report and Evaluation (ASPIRE) System and establishing adjusted academic accountability components and business rules. The proposed ASPIRE Policy & Technical Guide describes the system’s accountability components and business rules.
Note: One of the welcomed aspects of ASPIRE is the significant amount of helpful feedback we have received from school leaders, teachers, and other stakeholders. However, we also recognize that some stakeholders have thoughts but may need more time to share them with us. For this reason, we have extended the comment period for the ASPIRE Policy & Technical Guide through April 22.
