Notice of Petition to Amend Charter: Expansion and Facility – Monument Academy PCS

The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) announces an opportunity for the public to submit comment on a request from Monument Academy Public Charter School (Monument PCS) to amend its charter agreement by expanding its grades served, increasing its enrollment ceiling, and adding a second facility. The school submitted its application on August 10, 2026, then revised the proposed location in an addendum on September 23, 2026. In response to this update, PCSB is extending the public comment window until October 26, 2026, when it will hold a public hearing on the request.
