Notice of Petition to Open for Public Comment: Student Protection Policy

SUMMARY: The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) announces an opportunity for the public to submit comment on the Student Protection Policy. DC PCSB is committed to working with schools to find ways to reduce and prevent sexual assault, abuse, and harassment in schools. Currently, schools must have a policy around sexual violations and confirm to DC PCSB that their policy regarding sexual violations has been reviewed by all staff members annually.

The public hearing and vote on this policy have been delayed until further notice.
