The DC Public Charter School Board and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education on Friday May 25, 2012, hosted a webinar for Charter Local Education Agencies (LEAs) regarding proposed regulations governing student Dual Enrollment. A Dual Enrollment program enables high school students to enroll in approved college courses, taken on a college campus, and to simultaneously earn high school and college credit. Currently the District possesses no regulations or oversight articulating the rights and responsibilities pertaining to Dual Enrollment programs. The following PowerPoint presentations address policies proposed for such programming.
