Starling Temp
Starling Temp works in partnership with school leadership to create, change and evaluate charter goals. She also works with her DC PCSB team on annual reporting of schools’ academic goal performance. Ms. Temp began her career in education as a 2017 Teach for America corps member in Baltimore City, where she taught middle school mathematics for 5 years. In her time outside the classroom, Ms. Temp worked with Baltimore youth on college and career readiness opportunities through the city’s YouthWorks program and the Yleana Leadership Foundation. She helped middle and high school students build professional and financial literacy skills, gain hands on work experience, and explore careers, as well as provided high schoolers with no cost SAT exam preparation. Ms. Temp holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Sciences from The George Washington University.
