After almost eight years of service on DC PCSB’s Board, Ricarda Ganjam, current Secretary’s term on our board will end this month. Ricarda joined the Board in 2015, and has served as Secretary since 2019.

Ricarda stated in 2018, “It’s rewarding to be part of a board that supports equity for students and has a commitment to ensuring the school leaders have the flexibility to educate.”

Her passion for education comes from her upbringing. “As the daughter of immigrant parents and coming to this country in elementary school, education was always ingrained as something to value and cherish,” Ricarda wrote when she was first nominated as a Board member in 2015. “I remember my dad telling me that no matter what, education was the one thing no one could ever take away from you.”

DC PCSB greatly appreciates Dr. Ganjam’s dedication and hard work serving DC public charter school families and educators.
