Media Inquiries and Interview Requests

Direct all requests for interviews with the Executive Director, members of the Board or staff to Tomeika Bowden at tbowden@dcpcsb.org.

Speaking Requests or School Visits

Direct all requests to visit a school or for a representative of the Board to speak at an event to Aliya Drake at adrake@dcpcsb.org.  

Public Meetings

The DC Public Charter School Board holds monthly public meetings to discuss various issues related to public charter schools. The public and media are welcomed to attend. The location and time of the meetings are available, clicking here.

2020 Public Charter School Graduation Rates

Today OSSE announced that 76.6% of public charter students graduate in four years in school year 2019-2020, a slight increase of 0.2% from 2018-2019. The four-year adjusted cohort across DC consisted of 4,802 students who entered ninth grade in the 2016-2017 school year.
